wheee. we met at 11.30 and went to jurong point. to get cake and fill the plastic bags with water. then we carried all of it to morgan's void deck. hahaha, where we planned our ambush and attack. yar, we were like half an hour early and didnt want to wait anymore, so we msged morg to come down. hahhaa. we scared some of the residents there though... morg la, took so long to come down, so many false alarms.
so. we were counting down and when he stepped out of the lift, we ATTACKED!! threw water bombs at him, that is. haha, then we ran around abit. still chasing him with waterbombs, yes, and he was soaked. then "happy birthday to you , happy birthday to you, happy birthday..."
nat and debbie came out with the birthday cake, and ya, he made a wish and blew the candle.

went to his house after that, and shortly after, went to jurong point for lunch. AHH!!! i forgot to eat the crepe!!! oh.. :( im definitely eating that the next time.
hmm. had fish and co for lunch. the chilli was awesome. i like.
then went to morgey's place again. took pictures and played. played. played. like every pw meeting is play time. never fail to go to the playground. but i didnt get to hang upside down.

haha. boars are inspiring. we started to talk about the animals and interesting facts about them. hahah, i think i want to watch more animal planet and discovery channel. haha.
elephants, lizards, lions, freshwater fish, barnacles, starfish, sharks, crocodiles, koalas... hahaha.

Today started of pretty much the same. Things started going wrong after I left the house. Well, I got a msg from py, saying that she’ll be late.
[ok…aiya, nvm la. The last time she said that she’ll be late she was only 5 min late.]
We were supposed to meet at 8am. I missed the bus and so I was 10 min late. Still at the bus stop, wc msged me, saying that he overslept and asking us to go ahead for breakfast without him.
[oh ya, yesterday he had ex-class outing, so must have got home late.]
So I proceeded to msg morg and nat telling them I would be slightly late.

Then when I reached the station, once again, I was the first one there. Why is it that I can never be late?! Ok, back to the point. So many of them coming late, that was something wrong. So, py was the second to arrive after me, then morg, then we went for breakfast at ya kun, tiong. Ok. I ordered some frosty tea. And the usual egg and kaya toast. Then nat joined us. And then wc much later. We then went to my house. When I was finishing my frosty tea, I was feeling rather queasy.

Things continued to become worse. We practiced op, then worked on other stuff. And then, when Debbie came, we ordered pizza. We waited about 45 min , then I got a call from the pizza person, saying that the delivery man got into an accident. I don’t know about the rest of them, but I was feeling very low when I heard that news. Of course we had to wait some more.
My spirit was, I dunno, grieved? Crushed? Low? Just suddenly, no mood to do anything. I didn’t even feel like playing UNO. Just laid on the floor, motionless, then somehow, a few drops of tears rolled out.

Another thing that happened was that I puked out my frosty tea. Twice. And the queasy feeling lasted all the way till dinner.
We tried to retake the video which we set out to do, but alas, we had such a low morale that nothing could be done right. Even the clock fell off the shelf and smashed into pieces, leaving the floor with scattered glass. Had it cleaned up. But then even after that, we still could not shoot anything good. Py was very affected that she cried. Debbie somehow couldn’t get into her role. Maybe some things can only be done once.

We didn’t really do much. After lunch, we decided to go downstairs to lift our spirits. To the playground. Well, it was ok, but not as much fun as we had at morg’s place. Hmm. Played games, scooted around. The guys hung upside down. Then went to get ice cream. Mum cooked dinner for us, and ya, we all stayed, except nat, who left early, I guess partly ‘cause she’s not feeling too well. I think I would say that things got better after dinner. Laughed much, yes, a lot. They were playing battleship, py searched for music and we finally put the video together. Finally!! And practiced more op. and morg’s nails were buffed. And more awkward scenarios. Like me and py stretching. HHAHAHA.

Oh py!!! Talking about that… py, you don’t know how glad I am to have known you!! Earlier in the afternoon, we dunno how, started to talk about height and dance. And, AHHHH, you totally understand how I felt all these years!! Like seriously! I think you’re really my twin. Haha. How we have so so much in common. It’s like we have some kind of connection. Gosh! PY , I love you!

Ha. Then there was also some deodorant spraying, which led all of us to laugh uncontrollably, actually it’s more of me deb, and py. The guys ar..

OH! Oh, the guys… hahaha. You know something, I think they really bonded a lot. Haha. on Friday, they actually had to go back together; sadded boars. Because we all left first, or later. They are really getting closer.

no, actually it was I&R lecture which led up to the op preparations.

yes. we were all sitting together as a group. united as one! GAO GAO.

then op, first met at lot one, morgan was already at macs when i reached. he was having HOT CAKES. i shall not elaborate more. yes, then we all came except debbie, but we all had fun nonetheless. my weakness was exposed. they found out that i could not talk softly. and we worked, having much fun at the same time. the thing about us is that we can get alot done while having fun. and that's what made PW so much bearable for all of us. i could not imagine going through PW without them. nat knocked her head against the fire extinguisher.

yes. morgan brought us to the bus interchange where we had a good view of the buses, which was important for our video. thanks morgey!oh yes. i almost forgot.it was the day when they found out that i was called mats. and my brother was called crunch. haha, and morgan was looking forward to meeting my brother after exchanging a few words with him.

yes. oh, and this was on a saturday. we met like for like 8 hours. from 10am-8pm. but some left early.

sunday! we couldnt get enough of pw. we met up again. this time, after church, about 2.30. again at lot one, and at the library. this time, debbie found out that i could not speak softly. we had much fun. and nat knocked her head against the same fire extinguisher! haha..

it was on sunday that we finalised the video idea and skit. very funny. we were thinking about possible background music for the video, and i mentioned that we could do like acapella(i dont know how it's spelled) and go "shoo-bee-do-ahh". we all cracked up. laughing hysterically, in the LIBRARY. yes, and of course we were given the warning. then i think it was peiyun, "eh, then we can stand according to height."

ok, that was it. that kept us laughing for another 10-15 minutes or so. debbie, and her signature laugh.

then we somehow started on what's our catch phrases.

oh ya. and they started with kristofer. morgan and his funny nonsense.

oh, may i side track abit, i had a dream: that kristofer was staying at the block next to mine, then in the morning, he was waiting downstairs, and my dad sent us both to school. haha.

well and he passed me a pack of oreo today. so nice.

back to the pw story.

we worked till about 6pm. then went down to the interchange once more to take pictures for the video-to be specific, multishots. but you didnt have to know that. so, we spent about 4 hours together.

monday, independent learning day. yes, we seized that day. GAO GAO, ok.

met at 8am , all the way till 8 pm. solid 12 hrs.

hmmm, ya, we planned the video and skit, and made it a reality. we all had alot of fun again.. and we did get things done as well. had breakfast at ya kun, and nat's first time:) hhaah.

yes, this is the guys sleeping on the bus. oh and weicheng is not very ok with me saying that he's guai, in the previous blog.i apologise. wei cheng is a nice guy:)

it was too fun. so much so that i cant put every thing down, albeit i really want to share with you my incredible pw expeience. but they will remain as beautiful memories, with all 6 of us.

well, pw. i started off hating it. PI was still not too bad, cause i was working on my own. then came the part where we had to be grouped. i was hoping that somone, at least one person from my clique would be in the same group as me. not that i didnt like my other classmates, but it(pw) would be more bearable.
"you all wont get to choose your groups." said the teacher.
[ok...]
then he flashed the grouping on the screen.
morgan, debbie, peiyun, nathasha, wei cheng. and me.

[huh. py, nathasha, debbie, all from one clique... weicheng ar,got canoeing, dunno he will work not.. morgan..huh, that guy like got attitude problem one.]
from all my project work experiences, i gathered that guys were usually slackers, and i thought that once again, i had to do this myself, and share the credit with everyone.

the first project meeting was horrible. we all could not come to a conclusion to what we actually want to carry out. other groups all had pretty agreeable members, and they easily came to a decision. my group took a lot more time, and we were quite frustrated with each other. this further confirmed my initial perception of the group.

So group meetings were dreaded by all of us. i could tell. i remember our first meeting outside of the classroom, after pe on a thursday, it was already 6 plus in the evening, and we were all tired from a whole day of lessons, and still had to sit at the canteen table , staring into space, trying to squeeze out ideas for our group project proposal. which was due very soon. then morgan was the first to leave. it seemed to me that he couldn't wait to get out of school.
[oh man, how to work like that, everyone also not commited one... sian. ]

but then i dont know how, but later things turned out totally different. God answered my prayers. the GPP was completed in time, and EoM later, and then came the WR.

everyone did their part, and to my horror, or pleasant surprise, they were actually asking for more work. can you believe it.. we submitted draft after draft, and the night before each draft deadline, i was staying later and later. the first draft, i stayed up till 1am. the second, past 2 am , and the third and final, past 3 am. of course i was tired, but having the support of my group and strength from God, was what kept me going. i love them so much. nathasha, never failed to stay up with me, rushing the wr, proof reading it, and checking for any minor mistakes, NAT! i really appreciate it. and not to mention morgan, who does the research, searching for articles, mostly without being told, and they were very useful. debbie, always asking for more work, and putting together the collage which turned out very nice. peiyun, also asking for work, and she really takes pride in her work. in fact all of us did la, im sure. and of course weicheng, very guai, does what i ask him to without complaining.i know it was hard, the conclusion, and the manageability, feasibility, and all. im proud of all of us :D

then wr passed, and OP!
